I am not a “promoter” of whale killing, but if they are not an endangered species, and they are eating the meat, I don't have a problem with it.

I always felt the protest to oil exploration was disingenuous. Don't disturb the whales, we are trying to kill them. We want to preserve our heritage, using petroleum fueled boats and explosive harpoons.

Bob Barker was not, I repeat not a Marine!

He was a junior officer in the U. S. Navy and trained to fly Corsairs. The war ended before he went to sea.
He served post-war as a naval aviator in the United States Naval Reserve until circa 1960.
