The case has sharply divided the community,... Why? (The article doesn't say). What they don't "say" is that the perps are black and the girl was white. If that doesent "divide", I don't know what does.

IF what you say is true, that the 11-year old girl is white and that many black residents in the community are supporting the black perps solely because they share the same skin color, then those supporters are just as evil as the rapist perps themselves.

I’ve seen nothing stating the race of the girl. Her mother’s name is Maria according to the article I linked above.

I just did a bit of research and found absolutely nothing that confirms the victim’s skin color. But I did find an anecdotal account — some local (Houston) resident said he saw the victim’s aunt interviewed on TV, and that she was black.
