The fallout from the video conservative filmmaker James O’Keefe released Tuesday morning has been devastating for NPR. However, Juan Williams, a former NPR analyst who was fired unjustly even according to NPR President Vivian Schiller, finally had his turn to sound off about the video, which apparently showed an NPR senior executive, Ron Schiller, making some disparaging remarks about the Tea Party, the Jewish people and Williams himself.

That may be so. But we’re awake now and the bills they pass will benefit those who are good stewards of our resources. The progressives are learning a valuable lesson—their positions are not secure as they once believed. James Okeefe, Hannah Jiles and Lila Rose are just the beginning of those willing to expose wickedness in high places.
We need to recognize their shenanigans and turn up the heat.

Yeah, I picked up on that too. People in that frame of mind tend to have epiphanies. I think Mr. Williams is only now coming into a realization of who and what the people he used to work for really are. He was, after all, fired merely for having admitted that flying with people in Muslim dress made him nervous. That is not bigotry. What Schiller said, is.
I hope you’re right about his epiphany. I think Sean gave him wise counsel. Do you think he should sue or use that energy for better causes?
I think Juan needs to take a little quality time off and consider who he really is. The point at which you finally understand that the poseurs aren’t really intellectuals at all is the point at which you have to prove to yourself that you are. If he gets past it he’ll be a better man. IMHO.

Well, we need to explore applying for licenses and organize folks willing/capable of doing local conservative radio.
The libs will organize college yoots to run theirs.
I am thinking our best bet is the retired community.
We have the age old dilemma of, most conservatives don’t have time to protest as we have to go to work.
Even if we don’t start up stations, we should tie up the process with applications.
It’s extremely traumatic for some people to be fired. Juan appears to be one of those. But unlike most of us, he has the good luck to be able to go on tv and bash his old bosses! I’m loving it.
