I actually continue to believe this bill is a political distraction, Governor Perdue said. Its been a political distraction from the start.
Socialists/communists have always considered the Constitution and particularly the 10th Amendment a distraction.
Perdue believes the issue of requiring Americans to buy health insurance or face a fine will end up in the Supreme Court.
Perdue either doesn't understand or chooses to ignore the fact SCOTUS is not the final authority on the Constitution. That power is reserved to the states or to the people per the 10th Amendment. If SCOTUS were the final authority, then they could be able to change the Constitution at their whim as no one would have the power to stop them.

They do have that power and they use it regularly.

Apparently, the SCt doesn’t know about the states and the people either, since they regularly change the Constitution with their rulings....
