With this header, the implication is that the dismissals have occurred because the pesky tea party people caused them. So the spin begins.
These people haven't had to step down because they're calling the tea parties racist, all leftists have been doing that. No, I have two words for you why they're having to step down, "Muslim" and "Brotherhood".
Notice no mention at all of those words in the column.
I can see the political angle here, though. Given the recent comments by NPR leadership about "no bias," and the congressional pressure about funding.
