Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Wednesday that Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and his fellow agents were not under orders to refrain from using lethal force in the gunbattle that led to Agent Terrys death in December. Testifying to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Miss Napolitano said agents are allowed to use lethal force if you are under threat of serious injury or death. She said she herself has asked if the agents involved in the December shootout with bandits on the border in Arizona had their hands tied by orders, and she said the answer is absolutely not.

It’s hard to believe that she’s stupid enough to believe that her lie won’t be discovered, and fairly soon.

Then why supply them with bean bag rounds at all? Sorry but this stinks to high heaven.
It’s sad and disgusting that a good man died because of the over zealous anti-gun agenda that is being pushed by certain people in our Government.

So Big Sis ... tell me, did you ask the supervisors that get the seat of their pants shiny or the actual agents pounding the ground? I'd bet it was the shiny pants agents.

Even if true, you apparently need to get killed in order to prove in your subsequent murder trial that you believed you were under threat of death or serious bodily harm.

Lethal force with rubber bullets and beanbags!
Big Sis, YOU LIE!
What amazes me is that these adinistration sycophants are willing to support the Zero administration, to their own destruction.
Janet, do you really think that you will get a big time job after this display of total mediocrity?
Oh, sorry, I forgot that you might have a place in lobbyist, or government “analyst” with MSNBC

Considering how angry I am at Bush over the Patriot Act... Just add it to the pile.
I’m tired of our Government, be it controlled by the Democrats or Republicans, infringing on our Rights.

Then why were they armed with beanbags?
To: Nachum
Miss Napolitano declined to talk about reports that some of the agents were only armed with beanbag rounds. She said the ongoing investigation meant she could not comment on such details.
