"Tim Donovan, a spokesman for the Department of Administration, said that protesters were supposed to remain on the ground floor of the Capitol, but police allowed them to move to the upper floors."

This is part of the problem. The union police are compromised and the Governor cannot count on law enforcement to enforce the law. These mob invasions and destruction must be stopped, but I wonder if the Democrats are trying to provoke the governor into calling out the guard so Obama can insert himself by Federalizing the guard.

Completely irresponsible. A dereliction of duty. It makes me so angry to hear these cops have so little respect for their position as officers of the law.

If the unions need more money, they can always just increase dues on their “brothers and sisters” for all the great representational activities they have been up to recently.

I was watching the Fox Report (7-8 est) when the Wisconsin news broke. I -had- to turn over to watch MSNBC.

I was laughing out loud at the “pandalerium”

Apoplexy was the man of the hour, and the Min Leader was saying the meeting prior to the vote was illegal, the implication being the subsequent vote was also illegal. What he wouldn’t say was that it did not matter. Present or absent, public or private the result is the same. This entire action would not have been necessary had they been dealing with ADULTS.

That aside, why it was so difficult to sell the abolition of most of the collective bargaining for the public sector employees unions against the taxpayers, I still do not understand.

Honestly, these people act as if not having a union is the same as slavery. They really need to to take a good look at the state and federal regulations that protect workers. In fact: They do so in such a way, there is NO need for PUBLIC sector unions what-so-ever.

Mark that as one for the taxpayers.

You are correct; except for wages, there will be no Bargaining with the Union. Other items that were used as leverage in negotiations (which really were just rubber-stamped, golden packages passed by the Democrats) are gonna be gone. Now, Union power is diminished, and when the REQUIREMENT to pay dues for THAT kind of bargaining power fall on the Membership, they will be looking at Right-to-Work laws that eliminate MANDATORY Union Membership....which is the key to removing this money-laundering-DNC scheme.

So this Liberal Progressive ASTROTURF, is showing its true radical violent leftist face now. So much for civility I hope the media is reporting and comparing to the tea party... but then again the Obama state run news organizations and talking heads still think that the Unions Won... .LOL here is a link to one idiot professing that now...

But they can’t fund their generous pension funds! Funny how they have ungodly sums to pay for bussed in protestors from New York. And ungodly amounts on liberal campaigns.

I’ve heard a huge union strike/walkout is being proposed by the unions. DUer’s are ballistic, appoplectic, frothing, ...

Then they should be fired and replaced with people who are grateful to have the job.

Media slant...

Democrat Policy: gifted, enlightened, sound, reasoned, brilliant, makes sense, ‘for the people’, on and on it goes

Republican Policy: challenged, dismal, risky, not reasoned, stupid, senseless, ‘for the rich’, on and on it goes

I’m so sick of these media templates.

This is America!

Why wait for the guard. Why don’t the citizens of the state of Wisconsin show up to the Capital and protect it themselves!
