I can’t comment on Vince Flynn, since I haven’t read anything of his, but you might be interested in Dean Koontz; I’ve read several of his books, and I like his “Frankenstein” series.

This series is a re-telling and updating of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” (which would be a good book to read anyway, if you haven’t already).

The first in the Koontz series is titled “Dean Koontz’s Frankenstein: Prodigal Son”, and this is followed by “City of Night”, “Dead and Alive”, and “Lost Souls”. I am just now starting “Lost Souls”, so I can’t comment on it, but I really enjoyed the other books, and IMHO, each one is better than the one before.

All of these books are available in paperback, and are definitely great page-turners. I hope this helps a little!!

I have never read any Koontz novels; but I saw the TV movie version of Intensity. It was such a horrific story I assumed Koontz only wrote blood-bath stories. I see people reading his books all the time.
