The Left has been overrun for years with people who think that if you simply beat up on people enough they will run for protection to their oppressors. That's the logic of Piven and Cleward ~ Glenn Beck's favorite whipping "boys".

But you can see the idea here. You have a bunch of faux unionistas occupying the Wisconsin State House because they believe this will inculcate fear among the citizenry and they will flee to the protection of the unionistas.

This ignores the fact the citizenry had very recently ELECTED the legislature, not the unionistas, to run the state.

I suspect the unionistas have injected enough fear into the body politic that folks are pulling their guns out of the closet and cleaning them "just in case" ~ and they will not be turning those guns on the Governor and the legislature, but they might well intimidate the first teacher who says something they don't like.
