The congressman told a teachable story this morning. One problem: It’s untrue.
This morning, Rep. Keith Ellison (Democratic-Farmer-Labor party, Minn.) appropriated a hearing on Islamic radicalism by weeping his way through a speech about whata-buncha-nasty-bigots Americans are. He chose as his case in point Mohammed Salman Hamdani, a Pakistani-born Muslim American who rushed to lower Manhattan on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, to assist in rescue efforts, and died in the collapse of the World Trade Center. Here’s how Representative Ellison tells the story of the aftermath of his death:

No. It is actually pretty close to the opposite of the truth.

Why is it that every time some Muslim opens fire on innocent people while screaming “Allah Ackbar!” I have to prove that I’m not prejudiced?
Muslims never seem to be asked to prove they like America.

Absolutely. Muslims are taught that lying to an infidel is permitted if it is done to advance Islam. And Ellison knows it.
I was initially sympathetic to his story— but this is astonishing. One thing he ought to consider is a Hollywood career that was a brilliant performance. Seriously. Those certainly didn’t appear to be crocodile tears. To find out they were after such a convincing display of real but fake sadness tells me all I need to know how he got elected in the first place. Real talent there

I don’t know. “Moving” is how I would best describe my reaction to Keith Ellison’s passionate defense of Islam today. I hoped that he would soon be “moving” to Iran. Bob
His crying reminds me of a certain Nancy Peloski performance.
Or THEY can and do lie all they want. But by amending & extending his 'testimony', he will not be ridiculed by historians in the future.

Not only over the world but right here on US college campuses, muslim students were hi-5ing each other for days.
Peter King never brought this fact up but he should have. The impression I got of King is that he was very apologetic about the whole procedure.
No conclusions will be reached, no recommendations made and congress critters will just put on the kneepads again when dealing with Islam.

Maybe this is why Keith Ellison “cried” at the hearings by Peter King....we’re catching up with our enemies and “they” don’t like it. And, the dems will use “emotions” to hide their treason from their “ilk”.

Yeah the very person he named as being ‘smeared’ was actually commended in the Patriot Act!! The only person named was the one Ellison claims was smeared.
LIAR doesn’t begin to describe Ellison. He does practice his religion, eh?

The man was, is, and will continue to be; a horse’s ass.
Lying to Congress? That should be a crime.
It should. It should also be a violation of the ethics rules. So why no punishment?
