In the event that you cannot support this effort to save collective bargaining, please be advised that the undersigned will publicly and formally boycott the goods and services provided by your company.
This is a shakedown, pure and simple. They are demanding "protection money" and should be arrested. As community service, they should be assigned to clean up the state capitol and its surroundings with supplies they purchase.

As Karl Denninger pointed out today, two can play at that game. Private businesses can refuse service to government union employees. Don’t sell to them. Don’t provide services to them. Turn them away at every opportunity. The membership will get the message real fast that supporting jackasses like their leadership has consequences.

One word: extortion. That's been the modus operandi of labor unions from their very inception. It wasn't that unions were a good idea that was corrupted. They were born in corruption.
By definition unionism is anti-liberty and opposed to freedom.

Only th US Justice Dept can enforce Taft Hartley. I don’t expect that to happen. Absent any legal enforcement, I expect this extortion to work. The threat of boycott of local enterprises is effective since there is no unified opposing force of anything approaching equal power.
