Some rallying against a proposed bill to handle illegal immigration say this is a federal, not state, issue. MONTGOMERY, Alabama - Some opponents to a proposed piece of legislation targeting illegal immigrants say the solution should come from the federal government not Alabama. This is video from Thursday in Montgomery. Dozens of people rallied at the state house to voice their opposition to HB 56. The bill would, in part, charge illegal immigrants with trespassing in the state of Alabama. Opponents say this unfairly targets Hispanics and other minority communities. Some opponents say the majority of illegal immigrants are just here to earn a living.

“They're giving back to the community, they're working, they're obeying the law, their kids are leaders and what does the government need to do to set something up where they can become citizens,” says Emilio Diaz Sanchez with the Huntsville International Help Center. The bill still hasn’t made it out of the Alabama House yet. An “Arizona-style” immigration law was one of the items Alabama Republicans promised they’d bring up for a vote if elected in November.

Sorry “opponents”. Your precious FEDS aren’t going to do anything about. Each illegal alien counts as at least one more vote for Barry and his band of commie ‘RATS.

Opponents say this unfairly targets Hispanics and other minority communities.

Why is that again, because "hispanics and other minorities" refused to observe legal protocols to enter a sovereign nation, which all the rest of us in the world routinely do???

Are they saying "hispanics and other minorities" have become criminals unfairly?

“They're giving back to the community, they're working, they're obeying the law, their kids are leaders and what does the government need to do to set something up where they can become citizens,” says Emilio Diaz Sanchez with the Huntsville International Help Center.

Three lies in one sentence. Not a good beginning.

"They're giving back to the community..." Yeah, right. Living on food stamps in Section 8 housing, getting cash benefits "for the children", using the emergency room as their healthcare facility, driving without a license or insurance, sending their numerous children to public schools - these people are TAKING from the community, and gladly.

"...they're obeying the law..." Driving without a license or insurance, scamming SSI money, working under the table for cash, yeah they're really law abiding citizens !

"...their kids are leaders..." Gang leaders we don't need.

Illegal kids should not profit (more) from the illegal actions of their parents. The fact that they've hosed us for years doesn't entitle them to hose us more.
