I believe 7 days (or more) ago, an American hospital agreed to accept the baby, but needed Medical Records from the Canadian hospital. It has been about a week (or so it seems) that the transfer from Canada to the US has been held up over the transfer of Medical records.
If someone was in an emergency room, and needed care, medical could be accessed, I believe.
Why the red tape by Canada is beyond belief.
But then Canada on the one hand considers it a hate crime to say that engaging in homosexual acts is wrong (according to Christian beliefs).
Yet Canada allowed a Catholic Cathredral to be stormed by jerks who littered it with used condoms and knocked a couple of very elderly nuns. I believe these were Gays and Lesbians behind this outrage.
Yet what was done in the Cathedral was not a hate crime...
The liberal aspect of Canada is really weird, and the laws that they enforce regarding hate crimes...
Some sources cite Canada as the biggest perpetrator of hate-crime legislation in the world. I guess that as they get more tiles in their "mosaic," things aren't going as smoothly as when they were bicultural, and they feel the need to pass legislation to enforce the famous "Canadian politeness."
