Why is there no looting in Japan?

Do we really want looting? Just asking... Why was there no looting after 9/11?

6 Looting arrests in New York City on Sept. 11; by Oct. 11, 54 more had been made. Very low numbers in my opinion but looting did exist.

There was looting after 9-11. It was in the abandoned office building around the site. There was nothing to loot at the site it was all dust. Not well published.

Why was there no looting after 9/11?

Because there were cops and firefighters EVERYWHERE after 9/11.

9/11 didn’t leave vast swaths of the country without access to food, water, sanitation and shelter. As terrible as 9/11 was, it was nothing compared to this. Nothing.

And even at that, there was still more looting in NYC than there has been in Japan.

When I heard one of chief workers processing the material from the WTC tell reporters: "We're doing God's work here", I was pretty sure that in some respects they were not.
