I believe this. I stopped watching about two months ago. While the alphabet networks, CNN, MSNBC and PBS were battling over the 20% liberal market share, FNC had a monopoly on the 40% conservative share and it took it for granted.

Every night is same old, same old:

Fox All-Star Panel: Krathammer and another neocon from the Weekly standard plus a liberal.

Shep Smith: need I say more?

BORe: talking over his guests and a show that's similar to formula radio. If it Monday, it's Weeknights with Bernie. On Tuesday, it's smart blond/dumb blond.

Hannity: Means well, but is a walking GOP talking points memo. Great American Panel is the worst 15 minutes on cable news.

Greta: no complaints. I don't always agree with Greta, but she is professional and works hard.

Same faces every night: Rove, Perino, Krathammer, ditsy Nicole Wallace, Juan Williams. Same old, same old.

Agreed, I watch Fox now to catch Beck, that is about it, BoR lost me yrs ago, his no spin zone is anything but, and the man really should brush up on his topics and guests information as he comes across as a singularly unprepared loudmoth who just runs over guests commentary, half of the time with just poor facts to try and back it up.

Also think hard times means less cable subscriptions.

Beck & O’reilly..........tired and boring!! Geraldo.....automatic shutoff! Huckabee....a turn off!! They miss Britt Hume. The crew on 6pm with Baier are predictable...Krauthammer is full of himself. Rove doomed himself when he came out against Christine in Delaware.

Sorry, Fox.
I bought a treadmill and a kindle.
That’s 2 or 3 less discretionary hours per weekday.

And your morning couch format isn’t doing it.
Unless that chick wears her red “towel” gain tomorrow :P

Typical misleading headline.

Headline News lost 17%, CNN lost 37% of its viewers in 2010, but the headline and first page of the article focus on Fox losing 11%

Median prime time viewership at all cable news networks combined drops 16%, but the focus is on Fox's 11% drop.

Fox News cable has become just like the other MSM news stations, reporting the WHOLE, UNADULTERATED truth is just too controversial for any televised news org. I'm not too different from most (I hope) and I'm tired of being spoon fed lies by the gov media complex.

I have COX Cable in the New Orleans area and I can say it
S U C K S! It gets worse every year yet my bill climbs. At present I have one channel that used to run re-runs of old comedies i.e. Andy Griffith, and while I did watch them until I could recite them by heart, now they run the same old miserable program all week-end and they are not even good. The cooking shows no longer include the great cooking shows like Emerald Live, etc. now it runs nerve wracking contests with ingredients a sow would refuse, the great home and garden programs no longer exist. Let’s just say quality for normal cable is zelch and COX has no intention of changing that. Most of the apartments in the area I work are occupied by Spanish and Asians and they all have satalite dishes. So, I can understand the reason for the loss of customers and it is going to get worse. I am even thinking to dump COX. They do PR stuff in the community on the money they get from us and then give us cr@p!

No, I think its because they have somewhat fallen lockstep with the MSM in some areas. Not to mention there really aren’t that many conservatives on their channel as one would think. Geraldo, Shep Smith anyone? Also, their panels are stacked with RINO blather.

That is true, my issue with Beck is when has that whiney, teenager banned from his playstation tone in his voice.

Cannot stand to hear a grown man whine, but other than that his show is very enjoyable.

Think BoR’s quiz segment with Ducey and McCallum is some of the worst television I have ever seen, eegads is that segment patronizingly stupid.

Think Hannity lost something when Colmes left.

Would not watch Shep Smith on a bet.

The other thing that bothered me was the impression that the hosts were TELLING you, what you should think, that annoyed me enough to turn the TV off most days.

Bill Kristol, Fred Barnes, and Charles Krathammer are neocons. Fixed it for you.

There is not a deep need for information at the moment. Wait until December when the primary season begins again.

I agree about BO, but if Fox put Beck on at the 5 o'clock slot, on the west coast instead of Bill, their ratings would climb beyond belief.

"Two reasons why Fox is losing viewers... Beck and Bill O’Reilly"

Add Whorealdo to that...

Quit watching FNC when they hired Whorealdo.

However, when big news breaks, I will watch Fox and Friends for the news ticker. Alas, the entire Fox network is the worst at covering live breaking news. But there is no CNN ever in my house.

If I want more news about breaking events, I become a FReeperholic and OD on coverage, comments and clarification from the never-ending cadre of professionals in any and all fields that are omniscient and omnipresent on FR.

On occasion, I will watch Cavuto and Stewart Varney.

“His constant search for, and whining about, “the speculators” who he believes are solely responsible for high gasoline prices is my exhibit A.”

He isnt wrong. With the fed printing dollars at the rate they are, the speculators turn to commodities to hedge agaisnt inflation. Hence, the rise in prices, especially when the regions producing those commodities are in political turmoil and extremely unstable in their governments.

Want an example what happens when a aggressive socialist nation takes over an oil industry? Look at Venezuela.

You would not be wrong, O’Really went from “Culture Warrior” to “compliant moron” soon after his sexting settlement with a Staffer, now he is virtually unwatchable if one cares about Cultural Issues.

I think he also flip flopped on illegal immigration.

I can barely tolerate Beck’s radio show any more. Its like the male version of The View. Just way too much silliness from the guys. A little bit goes a long way.

Seems like a tempest in a teapot:

we believe economic factors such as low housing formation and a high unemployment rate contributed to subscriber declines in the second quarter," SNL Kagan analyst Mariam Rondeli, said in a statement. "We are also seeing churn resulting from the broadcast digital transition, which boosted video uptake early last year, as many have abandoned their paid subscriptions once initial promotional contracts expired."
