Police and Firefighter unions demand businesses publicly oppose Wisconsin governor
Radio Vice Online ^ | March 15, 2011 | Steve McGough

Here is another reason public unions should not be allowed to collectively bargain with politicians running a local or state government. Union leadership – including those from law enforcement and firefighters – have sent letters out to local businesses demanding they publicly oppose the efforts of Wisconsin’s legislature and governor or face the consequences.

Not only are they suggesting they publicly oppose the fiscal-sanity measures in Wisconsin, they are flat out telling them they will publicly boycott businesses who do not proactively do so.

Nice little business you got here.

Hate to see anything happen to it.

What’s the difference between these unions and the Mafia?

The Mafia only take a little each week and leave something for the owners to live on.

Only in that one is illegal, while the other gets aid and assistance from the Democrats.

Yeah, they’ll claim the owner gave the address wrong when he called in the robbery and they don’t show up...

Back when the MOB did this, it was called illegal and we got the RICO LAWS.

IF any business goes up in flames, or police refuse to provide protection, the businesses should sue.

INFACT they should file a LAWSUIT immediately for intimidation by the MOB RUN UNIONS.

Interesting to see where their loyalties lie.

For all those who insist cops are there to protect you, take a look.

Scant. Organized crime is a bit more honest and self aware about who and what they are.

"Oh, your store is on fire? We can fit you in at 4:00 on Thursday."

"Oh, someone robbed your store? We're having lunch right now, but we'll get on it as soon as we can."

Public sector unions are the conduit from a nation of laws to a pure kleptocracy.

Solution: dissolve municipalities and go to an individual contract system.

Unions are nothing but a legalize, thinly veiled, extortion business.

Allowing police and fireman to be unionized is about as smart as allowing the Army and Navy to be unionized.

No one can serve two masters.

In the cae of unionized police they are torn from their dedication to the safety of the community to representing the interests of the union bosses.

I hope they set up the concentration camp someplace warm, I could use that after this winter in WI.

Such a brazen act of blatant intimidation from the union leadership! I can’t imagine the fine folks in Wisconsin are willing to support this. Does anyone in WI hear of or know what the business community’s response to this has been?

The Boys in Blue - out to screw you.

Who faces MORE of a danger, the soldier in Iraq or a traffic cop? And yet who gets the least benefits and pay?

Next, the police and firefighters will have their union buddies at City Hall compile a database with names and addresses of registered REP voters, and mold their emergency response time and actions upon arriving at the scene of a call or traffic stop accordingly.

If the rank and file cops/firefighters actually do this, they are scum. This is APPALLING! I am not surprised about the heads of the Unions but the integrity of our entire system of Government is at stake here.
