Remember how the Democrats lamented the fact that 9-11 happened on W's watch, so he "got a chance to show leadership," something that "Bill Clinton never had a chance to do."

Now here's Obama, with his pick of major, major, heavyweight, world-historical type crises, any one of which a "real leader" could sink his teeth into and go down in history as a hero.

But Obama's not going down in history.

He's going down to Rio.

Not one crisis among the buffet of disasters we have unfolding around the world is "the right kind of crisis" for Obama.

If/when something really big and really bad happens in the United States, who among us actually believes that Obama is going to say "well, OK, I can't put it off any longer, gotta put on my hero suit and solve this problem cause it's my own country, my own people, the people who honored me by electing me to be President, and, as shy as I am about showing off my awesome problem-solving powers, I just can't take a powder on this one." Who really thinks that's going to happen.

When it happens, if it happens, Obama is going to find a reason to skip town for a "previously scheduled round of meetings." You know it and I know it.

And the MSM will be right there, making up excuses faster than the speed of sound.

ST - Leave him alone!

Don't you know he is focused like a laser on jobs? How much more is he supposed to do? He works 10AM to 2:30PM Monday thru Friday! He needs his weekends to recharge just like all of us!

Not only that, in case you haven't noticed, there are super huge gender bias issues in this country that are much more awesomely important than some leaking nuclear reactors in China. I for one applaud his coolness under the withering fire of American racism!
