My wife made crab cakes, I pulled a few pounds of salmon out of the freezer...some of my best home smoked stuff. The steamer clams are in the pot. I have Champagne and beer on ice. I even went out to the barn and brought in our New Years Eve noise makers. I don’t have any fireworks, so I’ll have to use my flairs out of the boat..... That is just plain beautiful writing. :^) A little shimmering painting in words.

That is just plain beautiful writing. :^) A little shimmering painting in words. He would have demonstrated a flair for writing, if a flare had been obtained from his boat.
