Eyewitness account: This video was shot minutes after a union advocate destroyed several petitions at a recall Jim Holperin Rally in Merill, WI. The event was moved to the court house grounds because the private location originally slated to host the event was threatened with arson. It should be noted that police were present when the protestor (sic) destroyed these recall petitions, but stated to us that there was nothing they could do about it. The female protestor (sic), who had a young child with her, approached the recall table pretending to be interested in signing the petition, then proceeded to write F--- You! She then ripped up other completed petitions before being stopped. Her actions were met with great approval from the rest of the crowd, who took up the chant heard in the video.
Turn about is fair play!
Its high time we quit this “take the high road and act civilly” crap and respond in kind to these goons.

If this is right, and the police stood by and said they could do nothing, then something is very wrong. Those actions were one step away from inciting violence. What in the heck. Is this story accurate? INCREDIBLE.

I agree, they are pushing and pushing, apparently in the belief that they can intimidate the majority into submission. I have no problem pushing back, just as hard as necessary to eradicate these vermin. And the police who stand by are no better than the agitators who ripped up these petitions.
You got that. It is the right of the people to petition the government for the redress of grievances. Those petitions should have been quietly observed, and at the first sign of destruction, the protection of those documents should have begun.

Police union blackmail. How far away is the time when "preferred" businesses get faster response time from the police? Or the "wrong thinking" businesses get the above treatment? Ditto for fire protection.
The police just sent a message. We got it, loud and clear. They have chosen sides.

Only when one is a good slave will the police protect protect them.
* Only leave one petition sheet out at a time. Protect the completed ones quite carefully; do not leave them where a passer-by can get to them
* Physically restrain anyone who destroys a petition and find a way to get them arrested if the local goon squad won't do the job (haul them down to the cop shop, call the media, etc.). I believe that destroying petitions is a fairly serious crime.
* These union thugs (cops included) are willing to remove your right to peaceably change the system. What options does that leave you?
The awkward time is probably nearing an end.
