The office of Sen. Dan Kapanke (R-La Crosse) said the senator has been subjected to damage of personal property and has received threatening statements in the wake of mass protests in recent weeks over Gov. Scott Walker’s budget-repair bill.

Kapanke have been unavailable, but an aide to Kapanke says that windows on Kapanke's car were broken in Madison and the senator's wife found nails strewn on the driveway of their home.

According to Rose Smyrski of Kapanke’s staff:

Nails were scattered on his driveway twice last week. The incidents were reported to the La Crosse Police Department.

Also, Kapanke's’s windshield was damaged on March 9 after the Senate voted on the budget-repair bill. Kapanke was advised by Capitol police he would not be able to reach his car parked on the Capitol Square because of protesters. A state trooper moved the car, and when Kapanke went to his car a short time later, he found a hole in the windshield. He drove home to La Crosse. He reported the damage on Wednesday to Capitol police.

...and coming soon to a state near you.

I certainly hope so. My aim is good, but even I can't hit someone from an entire State away...

Yes. They've been "bad enough" for years now...

I have no idea what it is going to take to get us moving, but against this much inertia? Ain't nothing going to stop us once we do...

Whatever..

Tired of these weak responses...

Things are only going to change when they learn about fear and pain.

Note to Kapanke:
Become heavily armed.

Dead commies don't throw rocks.

*Time to fire the entire bunch and start over.*

Very good idea.
let the thugs be arrested and the rest of them fight it out in court for the next decade or two while the go-along teachers say, “Y’want fries with that?”

—Again, for a multitude of reasons, I’m not there with you on that.

But we do need to do a lot more legal things to restore some sense of order here. And Boehner and co. in Congress need to get off their lazy a$$es and do everything they can to force protection in WI.

I’d even say if Obama and Holder aren’t willing to help here, then the U.S. government will need to be shutdown. That will gave them a good out in the inevitable.

The big issue for the Wisconsin libertarian party as far as I could tell for years was the legalization of drugs and not much else. They wanted limited government when it came to drugs.
I know a lot of leftists who actually consider themselves libertarians. They seriously do not see the disconnect between government intervention and expansion and their ideas that they are libertarians.
I think as long as the government enables them to indulge in any sort of hedonistic behavior as far as drugs and sex are concerned, they believe that it is a libertarian ideal, never mind the intrusion of prohibiting cigarette smoking in any public or private forum or the like. It doesn’t make sense to us, because we are not leftists.
Libertarian sounds cool, but I think they confuse libertarian and libertine.

“Progressive” and “libertarian” are polar opposites. Is the guy schizophrenic ?

Yawn...

Just more pointless games...

We are not going to gain our freedom through the current political system. I hold out little hope for those among us that cannot see this.

The perfect example being Noam Chomsky, who calls himself a “libertarian socialist”.

I think the point of that request is to keep posts from saying things like...

"Hey *person*! Im going to drive to your house and kill your dog then beat the SH-- out of your wife and kids... After that Im gonna stick a hot poker in your eye"

I am sincerely relieved that your participation will not be required for us to succeed at winning our freedom from the tyrant douche bags. Apparently the real world is much too harsh for you to accept, just return to your land of unicorns, rainbows and bunnies that crap jelly beans.. Your delicate sensibilities should be safe there...

I don’t think even that will stop it. Someone has already gotten shot by a leftist goon and we see how little things have changes since then. Anyone remember what happened in Arizona once they found out the shooting wasn’t committed by a Tea Partier?

-——the senator’s wife found nails strewn on the driveway-——

Typical Richard Trumka terrorism.

When he led the terrorist miners in their 1988 SW Virginia strike jackrocks were a commonly used device to puncture tires. Nails are bent and sharpened and welded so that one point is always up. The jackrocks were scattered in diveways and coal haul roadways. The union claimed that it was the work of nonunion members. The press of course gave them a pass and to this day will tell you it was a union busting effort

The acts were not terrorism then but are now. Wisconsin union members are terrorists
