Labor: Unions' favorite target asks why there are no organized mobs hanging from the rafters of Congress or picketing the White House. Wisconsin will have better benefits, that's why and a balanced budget.
It's a fair question to ask: Why was limiting the collective bargaining rights some would say collectivist bargaining rights of public-sector unions so terrible, when Wisconsin workers are still much better off than their federal government counterparts?
In a Washington Post op-ed, Gov. Scott Walker noted that most federal workers do not have collective bargaining rights for wages and benefits. He reminded us that his successful plan requires a relatively modest 5.8% pension contribution and a 12.6% health insurance premium payment.
These are well below what is paid by private-sector workers and government workers who must contribute 28% of health insurance costs. "It's enough to make you wonder why there are no protesters circling the White House," Walker observes.
Perhaps it's because the federal government which, unlike Wisconsin, can print money is the patron saint of public employee unions that are virtually the only area of union and employment growth in an economy in which true unemployment, including those who've given up looking, remains in double digits.

The reason she gives is that somehow an open meetings law was violated - a meeting rat lawmakers illegally fled the state not to attend.
Ok. Not a problem... start laying off workers, or declare bankruptcy and renegotiate all contracts for state workers. Face it, the state of Wisconsin is broke!
I'm glad the entire country can see how the Democrat party operates.
Click to watch the new Democrat party crash the State Capitol.
Judges will destroy Wisconsin first, and then America.
I heard this on WLS today while working out in my greenhouse(no it’s not fun when it’s a commercial greenhouse, it’s tiring, but I do have an early tan going!)....
Anyway what I heard was that the liberal activist judge “Sue-Me” that is obstucting the budget fix law, is the SAME judge who ruled that the illegally striking teachers, were doing nothing wrong and it was OK they were striking.
Not surprising really. But I thought perhaps 2 different liberal judges were involved with the 2 different cases. Nope, just the same old liberal commie doing the work of the DNC, teacher’s unions and the rest of the commies.
She subverts passed law, yet lets the striking teachers do as they please.
This isn’t a democracy or representative republic, it’s tyranny.
I heard on Wisconsin talk radio that some of these reps are more vulnerable than others. Do you know which ones are in the most need for donations? Not possible for many to donate to all of them. Also, does Judge Prosser need donations? I know he is targeted in order to flip the state Supreme Court to the libs.
Also, Kapanke's car was vandalized and union thugs have been protesting outside his house for more than a week. The police were "kind" enough to close the street so the thugs wouldn't be in danger from passing vehicles. The protests have been going on for a week but this is the first article the Tribune has written about it.
Here's the headline in today's local paper. One-hundred new jobs; 1 big protest. So the governor is doing what he promised, create jobs, but the protests continue.
It might be a good idea for a Wisconsin freeper to start a donation thread for these representatives and judge under attack by the union thugs in Wisconsin.
The La Crosse area is very liberal.....if we want to keep Dan Kapanke, a good Republican, conservative senator, in Madison we need to get the truth out and contribute to his re-call/re-election. Union members have gone over the top in their hatred for Senator Kapanke and Governor Walker. Never mind that Wisconsin has severe financial problems. The unions are vehemently doing everything they can to intimidate and to harass certain businesses as well as those individuals who support the Governor's budget plan. Lines are being drawn like never before....pitting those who oppose against those who support. I've not seen anything like it in my lifetime.
And as of yet, the name of the female who wrote the threatening letters has not been revealed. The letters were very explicit in their hatred...put a bullet in your head.
