When Rudy was mayor of New York City, did persons who applied for jobs with the city have to attach a copy of their long form birth certificate and a copy of their college records, if their job descriptions required that they had to have a college degree?

Or, did the chief employment official under mayor Rudy simply take an applicant's word that he was born in a certain state or country, and he was the age tha he put on his application?

Note: If you applied for a job with New York City, especially when Rudy was mayor, could you please tell us if you had to provide a copy of your birth certificate with your application and/or a copy of your college records? Thanks.

Rudy just put his foot in his mouth, and he didn't even realize it.

That is, if Rudy decides to run for president on the Republican ballot in 2012, he better come prepared to show us his long form birth certificate---even VOLUNTARILY attaching it to his application form in each state---or he is not going anywhere because of the bad things he just said about birthers.

It Does matter and It will Never be too late!!

Yes it matters, just like Bill Clinton lying under oath before a Federal Grand Jury and getting away with it matters. And it also matters to the people who say it doesn't matter - because when the 20% of birthers get sick of the Republicans, the pubs will become a permanent minority. I am getting the feeling more and more that the Republican and Democrat parties are functionally one party. For example, out of a 3.7 trillion budget, they only disagree over 60 billion? This is like arguing over what to tip the waitress. Even if us birthers are wrong, this is a winning strategy for the House of Representatives. When the House subpoenas the long form BC, Obama and the Dems will be on the defensive for the remainder of Zero's term. They have to, because Zero is hiding his life for a reason.

Ah. Yap from the guy who came in dead last on my list of potential Republican POTUS candidates, narrowly beating Mitt and McLame to the bottom.

As if I cared what HE thinks, in the first place, but the question of Duh WOn's Constiutional eligibility will persist until answered, if for no other reason than an object lesson into what sort of people we NEED to KEEP OUT of the White House (along with those who do not understand the Constitution well enough to swear to protect and defend it).

Exactly. They don’t seem to get that it’s not about being born in the U.S. It’s about whether he is a “natural born” citizen. It’s about ALL of his hidden records. It’s about his past ties to radicals, communists and domestic terrorists. It’s about how he was able to travel to Pakistan on a U.S. Passport at a time when Americans weren’t allowed to do so. It’s about why no one from his college years remembers him. No transcripts? No release of Mr. Harvard Law Review’s papers?
