Not until the 12th paragraph does it say anything about whether or not these Latinos are legal or not. In that paragraph a woman saying that she wasn't paid declined to give her full name. Why? Because she came to the United States to work illegally and was afraid she would get deported.
Iowa has had milk toast legislators when it comes to illegals. Farmers and businesses alike drive the so called "need" to use illegal immigrants.

>>I have no problem with illegals being cheated out of wages. Serves them right.<<
I am happy that there is a very small probability we will ever do business together. A man’s word is his bond. If you hire someone and then don’t pay him you are lower than snake sh!t.
Of course, any employer that knowingly employs illegals should be prosecuted to the fullest extend of the law.
On top of that, make them give back all the WELFARE these farmers got in the form of farm subsidies. Make them give back every tax break, every dime of wealth these farmers transferred from the taxpayers into their pockets.
I agree the employers need to be punished but if you hire a man for a certain wage then you should be man enough to pay it because you agreed to the terms. You agreed to an unwritten contract.
From your way of looking at things when you say “I promise you”, you’re really saying, “Maybe I will and maybe I won’t” which in my eyes makes you lower than snake sh!t. You don’t even respect your own word.
And in my view, you think illegals should be paid for the wages they steal from US workers. What does this say about you?
Illegals should be offered no benefits from living in the US. That includes denying them payment for the wages they have stolen from US workers. If that makes their lives a living hell, then so be it.
