This is a distinction without a difference anyway. If a candidate does not have a full-time job (which O’Donnell hasn’t for years), he is permitted to pay himself a salary from campaign funds commensurate with what he considers he would have made were he not a full-time candidate. So whether O’Donnell paid for one condo directly from campaign funds and for another condo indirectly via a campaign salary drawn from campaign funds is pretty immaterial. O’Donnell is a perennial candidate who ran in 2006, 2008 and 2010 - she lives off of political donations.

Sorry, wideasleep, Christine O’Donnell has never taken 1 penny of campaign funds for her own personal use or living. The truth is that prior to about September 30, 2010, her campaigns never had much money to speak of.

Christine O’Donnell has had many jobs during the time period you say. She ran her own business as well. She worked even fairly menial jobs here and there to fill in while running for office.

She sold her house for $135,000 while owing $90,000 something on it — pocketing equity of about $44,000+ to live on.

So simply telling lies about people is not acceptable.
