Haven’t people known about this ‘strong thirst for human milk’ since the discovery* of breast feeding?
*By Al Gore, I think.

Scientists predict strong thirst for 'human milk'... Let me guess: These Scientists form a consensus, and if you disagree, then you are a denier.

Okay, some things that come out of that part of the world just sound wierd.
Available at the supermarket? What, in the cooler just 1 aisle over from the tiger testicles?
Or maybe close to the rhinocerous horn powder.

Human milk contains two kinds of nutrition that can help improve the immune systems and the central nervous systems of children. The components are not available in milk produced by goats or cows. Makes sense to me.

By the time they finish pasteurising, homogenising, skimming and adding vitamins to the milk we buy in the store it herdly can be described as milk anyway.

Melamine-enriched no doubt. Absolutely, positively the last thing produced by the Chi-coms I'd ever even think about consuming. Not even in my worst nightmare.

I’ve no problem with the “GM” part; most, if not all, food is drastically different than before humans started selective breeding (i.e. genetic engineering with whatever technology was available).
But the “human” characteristics of the milk is rather unappetizing.

I find it odd that we (and we includes me!) are comfortable drinking milk from another species unless it is similar to milk from our own species!
