Mad dogs should be killed on sight, without remorse, for the betterment of your community. Mad humans deserve the same fate.
Despite thousands of years of deep thought and philosophical debate, funny how war is still commonplace among humans. So accept it. Many things are worth the descent into total war, starting with the safety of your family. Do not seek war, do neither back away when war comes to you.
Surrender gives your attacker permission to do whatever he wants. There is no honor, nor safety, in surrender.
Finally, those poor souls who saw their attackers’ guns lying around and didn’t pick them up ... so sad. Even a little knowledge of guns might have saved them.
