Breaking; Huffington Post Discovers Media Bias!
Tea Party Tribune ^ | 21 Mar 2011 | Tom Tillison

Posted on 03/22/2011 6:33:06 PM PDT by mandaladon

As a public service announcement I caution all before reading this critique of the Huffington Post article referenced below to ensure that you are sitting down and that there are no sharp objects around before proceeding.

A stunning revelation has just been discovered that may very well shock you! A crack writer at HuffPo, Lee Stranahan, in reference to the multiple death threats against Wisconsin Republicans not being reported in the media, states;

“Ignoring the story of these threats is deeply, fundamentally wrong. It’s bad, biased journalism that will lead to no possible good outcome and progressives should be leading the charge against it.”

So, just to be sure we have it straight, the progressives that are responsible for the criminal bias in today’s media should be leading the charge against it? Really?

Although, in all fairness, I suppose it’s encouraging to see at least one zealot from the left crawl out from under his rock and see the truth. I say that because it’s almost comical that Mr. Stranahan had to do a Google search to discover that… brace yourself… the media in this country just may be dishonest and…steady now… that conservatives are actually right when accusing the media of being biased in favor of the left;

“Just before writing this article, I did a Google search and it’s stunning to find out that the right wing media really isn’t exaggerating — proven death threats against politicians are being ignored by the supposedly honest media.” I suppose we should thank Andrew Breitbart for engaging this fellow in good old fashioned capitalism (Breitbart hired him to work on the Pigford Settlement story), which apparently has stimulated his sense of discovery. Could this be the secret to conquering the left?

Is this really what liberalism has come to in 2011?

No actually, liberalism has been like this overtly since the 60's and covertly since the dawn of socialism. Nice of you to finally notice though you incredibly observant professional reporter you. Can't put anything past a crack journalist.

I think he’s been writing for biggovernment for a few weeks - Andrew called him in to help with the black farmers issue.

I think that has been fundamental to the Progressive Movement from its beginnings.

The only reason why this article made it beyond the garbage pile at HuffPo is because so many of their bloggers have stopped contributing because they kinda want their piece of the multimillion dollar pie...

Guess they're bigger believers in capitalism than they like to admit... :)

The Huffington Post has a lot of empathy for Gov. Walker now that they are being struck too.

I’ve read several of his articles over at BigGov and though he is a liberal, I have to give him credit for writing for Andrew’s blog whose readers are a pretty conservative crowd and definitely give it to him. Of course I haven’t agreed with him but at least he doesn’t appear to be frothing at the mouth and calling conservatives vile names as is common place amongst the mentally ill left

Absolutely NOT true. I can think of one good outcome. Lefties who get their news from biased journalists will become dumber and dumber relative to Conservitives who get accurate news.

Yes, I think the "Lois Lane Award" would definitely be in order here.
