This is puzzling. While we all knew he’d botch it, it’s only been a few days.
Actually he botched it when he said Gadaffy must go; then by dithering while Gadaffy was on the ropes; and then this belated, ineffectual, chaotic “coalition.”
It’s like he started at home plate, ran to third, sleepwalked to second, got kicked hard over to first base and having landed there, he’s now staggering toward home.
Even for a rookie, it’s an unbelievably bad performance.

Saddam Hussein was turned over to his own people, tried and executed by them. The same should go for Qadafi. If we stoop to assassination, we’re no better than Quadafi himself. That’s what bothers me the most about this whole mess. No one wants to say they’re out to kill Qadafi, but they smirk as if they’re fooling someone. The goal should be to help bring him to justice. That’s a priviledge America grants to everyone......isn’t it? That’s what defines us as a Nation and as a people......isn’t it?

Even if his own people were to rip him to shreds without a trial, it would be wrong. If the goal is to kill Qadafi, why are we feeding, housing and providing for the terrorists in Gitmo? Just kill ‘em!
