Border Patrol agents recently arrested 13 illegal immigrants disguised as U.S. Marines and riding in a fake military van, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Tuesday.
The illegal immigrants were clad in Marine uniforms when they were apprehended at the Campo Border Patrol Westbound I-8 checkpoint at 11 p.m. on March 14 near Pine Valley, Calif., border officials said. Two U.S. citizens in the van also were arrested.

Isn’t there a recognized law/doctrine specifically addressing foreign nationals wearing military uniforms and/or impersonating the armed forces of the United States?
The 13 illegals need to go to GITMO. The 2 citizens, a blindfold and last cigarette.
Of slightly less interest, Marines are tough - but fifteen people, named Perez, in one van, is cruel and unusual even by their standrds.

I know in the past large families were not uncommon, but in this situation, it might have been better to have different names on the stolen or borrowed uniforms. Darwin comes to mind.

I have a better suggestion...not only for illegal aliens but also for those who are in jail. Put them on tread mills and hook tread mills to generators for about 8 hours a day. Of course pee break and meals. They’ll be so tired they won’t be making trouble for anyone and they’ll get all the physical excercise they want and need. There won’t be any need for gym equipment and they’ll be earning their keep.
This should sink the stupid amnesty plans of Utah and get rid of some RINOS at the same time.

This is bizarre; they have to find the real “Perez” that sold his size S fatigues to these jackasses. I can’t believe this isn’t a more serious crime than simply an immigration offense.

Actually, this is a case of espionage. Wearing the uniform of another country is considered spying. AND all involved are chargeable under espionage laws, including US citizens.
OTOH, a judge ruled that it was okay to lie about your military service (the case of people wearing medals or rank they are not entitled to).
If we were at war with Mexico I know we could execute them; since we’re not, I don’t know how to prosecute them.
Definitely a first, though.
