A transgendered father of four received two years behind bars Wednesday for starving and beating his kids after they refused to call him "mom."
The 31-year-old South Korean, identified only by his last name Oh, is taking hormone injections once a week and considering sex reassignment surgery, the Yonhap news agency reported.
His ex-girlfriend and mother of three of the children was sentenced to two years in jail on the same charges, the news agency reported. The couple had lived together from 2006 until last year.
"Although the defendants claim that the beating was for educational purpose and legitimate, their conduct cannot be seen as a way of parental guidance," said Presiding Judge Choi Doo-ho in handing down the sentences.

A deep consideration of the causes of unjustified violence usually finds that it involves someone trying to force their delusions on others, be it a right to the other’s property, a right to rule someone against their will, or, in this case, the notion that a man jazzed up on estrogen is a woman.
Given our society’s new norms, I suppose these bigoted children need to be put into a detention center.
Treating these people that their “normal and it’s a life choice and they don’t have a mental illness is truly cruel hateful; it’s like giving a junkie pure heroin and telling them it’s good for them.
Please inform them that you are tolerating them for me too so in fact you are twice as tolerant as you think you are.
I once had a partially sex-changed female-to-male patient whose grown daughter addressed him/her as “Dad” in every single sentence. For thirty years the patient had been “Mom.”
I can see calling your ex-mother Frank instead of Frances, but how could “Mom” ever become “Dad?”
The TG crowd are quick to get indignant when someone ‘identifies’ as a man, woman, whatever but isn’t viewed/called as such - as if we are supposed to a) read minds and b) ignore heaps of visual evidence to the contrary.
By their logic, I can identify as Pele, Eddie Van Halen, Pierce Brosnan or Ronald Reagan. So don’t you dare let me hear you use any other names!

I wonder if he's also legally changing his full name to: Oh BeautifulForSpaciousSkies
You can have an operation, you can take hormones, you can develope breasts, you can force everyone to call you miss, but in the end you are nothing but a man with a broken mind and a mutilated penis.
