Israel strikes arms depot in Gaza following Palestinian rocket fire

Palestinian sources say arms depot belongs to Hamas' military wing; attack comes after two rockets and several mortars were fired into southern Israel earlier Thursday; IDF to deploy Iron Dome next week, Channel 10 says.

The Israel Air Force bombed an arms depot in the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday, which according to Palestinian sources, belonged to the military wing of Hamas.

The attack was carried out around 8:30 P.M. local time, after two rockets and several mortars were fired from Gaza at southern Israel earlier Thursday.

According to Palestinian reports, IDF forces also attacked a military facility which was formerly used as the Palestinian Authority's intelligence headquarters.

Channel 10 reported Thursday night that the Israel Defense Forces will deploy the Iron Dome missile intercept system next week in Israeli areas around the Gaza Strip.

The IDF is due to deploy for the first time a battery of the Iron Dome defense system around Gaza. However the move has only limited defense capabilities since one battery can only cover a limited area. The system itself is in its final stages before becoming operational.

Earlier Thursday, Palestinian militants fired a Grad rocket that fell around the area of the city of Ashdod and another Qassam rocket that fell in Sderot.

The violence Thursday came a day after a bomb at a bus stop in Jerusalem killed a British woman and wounded more than 30 Israelis.

Now it seems that the bombings and killings of Israel have commenced again, what with this bombing and that stabbing last week.

The Palestinians, for some twenty years under the tutelage of the United Nations and still nothing but a big slum filled with nothing burgers, cheer for now they can do what they were meant to do.

Which is follow the command of their Arab masters for the funds given them for killing.

Well now that we got another Dem back in the White House, especially this dolt don’t know up from down....God I hope the Israelis bomb those people back to ancient times.

Remember how they put up with Arafat when everybody knew he was the conductor, as he was welcomed with hugs in the Clinton White House?

Well at least this time they bombed something besides empty desert as has been the usual policy. One tiny ammo dump in a sea of ammo dumps... something, but won't hold the flood back, especially with the under construction Iranian Naval port in Lebanon.
