EL PASO, Texas – U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano said Thursday that security on the southern U.S. border "is better now than it ever has been" and that violence from neighboring Mexico hasn't spilled over in a serious way.
Napolitano spoke at the Bridge of The Americas border crossing, after a meeting with the mayors of the border towns of El Paso, Nogales, Ariz., and Yuma, Ariz. Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Francisco Sanchez and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Alan Bersin also were present.
Napolitano said the Department of Homeland Security will deploy 250 more border agents and expects to have 300 more under their next budget if it's approved. She stated that Homeland Security is investing "millions of dollars in the side of commerce and trade" to improve infrastructure and technology along the border.

Napolitano’s nonsense would be more alarming if it was not for the fact that George W Bush admin was just as pro-Illegal Alien and anti-American as the Obama admin.
If you are not willing to secure the border, deport all Illegal Aliens, and end NAFTA...you are a supporter of Open Borders and Illegal Alien Amnesty
Border towns are safe,.......for illegal immigrants.

KLBJ has been talking about this today. She must have been smoking some really good Mary Jane to say something so stupid.
Every member of his staff is. These people were not hired to defend the United States. That’s for sure.
There’s a chicken vs egg sort of argument to be made with these people.
Are they truly this stupid, or are they crafty like a fox?
It makes little difference to me witch it is. Like you said, she’s (they’re) dangerous.
I was just relating to several other posters that there seems to be a sort of chicken vs egg argument here.
Either the guy (Obama) and his crew are too stupid to be our leaders, or they’re too conniving and evil to be our leaders.
Either way, by now it’s startlingly clear that they shouldn’t be in positions of leadership.
I have progressed from being mad and disliking them to being frightened of them.
I am scared and fear our way of life is threatened by these people.
I think they know exactly what they are doing; they have studied how to do it for decades!
I know they have. It would be impossible to argue they don’t at least know in part what they are doing, and it could easily be argued they know exactly what they are doing.
I vote for BOTH
