Gov. Deval Patrick set to begin 17-day book tour

Gov. Deval Patrick is set to launch a 17-day tour to promote his first book that deals with his rise from youthful poverty in Chicago, and his friendship with President Barack Obama.

Patrick is set to promote his memoir titled "A Reason to Believe" in New York, Washington and Chicago, and at national television and radio shows like Comedy Central’s "The Daily Show."

Gee, with all the book stores closing it’s going to be tough to do a book signing.

Some of the ‘comments’ are pretty good:

Patrick only looks our for his little self! On Our Dime! CapeWind, Patrick and Bowles made Millions!

He should get part-time pay. What a winner.

I wish just one politician would come out with a book called, “It Beats Having To Work For A Living”. I’d be first in line to buy one.
