Twenty top leaders of the Bexar County Democratic Party are demanding the resignation of Chairman Dan Ramos because of his controversial comments about fellow partisans.
**SNIP**
His hateful, bigoted comments have no place in the Democratic Party. ... We condemn and disavow the comments and opinions he expressed, the open letter said.
Mr. Ramos has proven he does not support nor represent our party's ideas and, therefore, we call upon him to resign immediately, it added.
Despite being the local party's top official, Ramos has no control over the website, which recently began posting numerous demands for his resignation. In addition to a letter from the state party chair, similar messages to Ramos are posted from elected officials, the state party's vice chair and party officials from Travis, Harris, Dallas, Hidalgo and Wichita counties.
Lacking authority to oust Ramos, the party's executive committee, which meets April 5, will consider a resolution to censure him. Legislation is pending to hasten his forced removal, but the proposal by state Rep. Trey Martinez Fischer, D-San Antonio, hasn't been set for a hearing in the House Elections Committee.

Imagine if a republican had said some of that stuff. It would be front page news for a week or more.
What is wrong with this? Other than his “belittled blacks”, I agree with him.
“Ramos has drawn ire mainly for his verbal assault on Texas Stonewall Democrats, the party’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender caucus. But he’s also belittled blacks, lambasted elected Democrats and accused detractors of involvement in the party’s embezzlement scandal.
So who died and made him King? This is a prime example of why the Democrat party is dying from its own institutionalized corruption. If this is the case with any REC, I don't know it but I am certainly going to find out about mine.
This “idiot” was SPOT ON except for the “blacks” thing. I think the fag mafia of the Dummycrat party threw a hissy fit as always and pushed for this.
“Belittling blacks” doesn’t mean anything today. In “pressspeak” it could mean saying something like “70%+ of black children are born out of wedlock” (true) or “blacks have two heads” (false). Why not ask if he said something true or not? Unfortunately, from the story there is nothing that allows anyone to make that judgment. Moreover, it would be important to have his actual words rather than a journalist’s “interpretation” of them. I suspect, but don’t know, that the black angle was brought in mainly because he spoke out about the sodomites. The sodomites know that what he may have said about them isn’t going to get him fired in SA, so the black angle gets brought in.
Why the 'other than'? What form did his 'belittling' take?
If he were to belittle Chas. Rangle for tax evasion, or belittle Rep. Jackson-Lee for diminished mental capacity, or belittle Rep. Maxine Waters just for the hell of it, would you not agree with it?
I sure would.
Uhhhh....whaatttt?
True, I would too. Let’s add Zero to the list of blacks that it’s acceptable to belittle while we’re at it.
