Gibbs wasn’t terribly impressive and the new guy is an epic failure.

That said, those of you who are anti-Facebook need to get with the 21st century and establish an account.

Social media is a great way to influence your family and friends. I often post articles and news they never would have been exposed to, news that perky Katie types ignore.

I’m also on Facebook and find it very informative. Every newspaper, tv station, tv show, politician, disease, author, movie, business, etc. has a Facebook page. If you’re interested in something, type it in FB’s search function, and you’ll find it.

Social media is a great way to influence your family and friends.

Unfortunately, it's also a great way to get reams of unsolicited junk email from people you don't know, and to be deluged with sales pitches for products and services you don't desire. I'm on FB, but I found that I had to scale back my public information to a bare minimum to avoid the nonsense.
