The name of the page is Helping Americans Keep the Coverage They Have and Promoting Transparency and for the first three months it kept a regular schedule. But that changed in January. Back then I actually called to see what the hold up was and was told they were just slow updating the site.
HHS did eventually get around to updating the site with a whole mess of new Obamacare waivers, bringing the total to 733 covering 2.2 million employees. Coincidentally the update happened one day after the Presidents State of the Union.
It has now been just over two months since HHS updated the site (January 26th). Apparently transparency has gone from monthly to bimonthly. Could it be that HHSs timeliness is inversely proportional to this becoming an increasingly embarrassing story for the Obama administration?
The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Aren’t these ‘waivers’ unconstitutional? Isn’t there a clause in the there about applying all laws equally to everyone?
How can you grant someone a waiver from obeying certain laws? Can I get a ‘waiver’ to kill my next door neighbors dog? (that annoying little mutt barks all night long...)
What if we file a lawsuit DEMANDING that they be required to follow it just like everyone?
Then when they start going out of business people will wake up (maybe)
My prediction is that when they finally do update the figures will be 2000+ special dispensations, er, waivers...........
Forget your neighbors dog, lets all try to get a waiver from the income tax.
