Bill Ayers Admits For Second Time He Wrote Obama's 'Dreams From My Father'

For the second time in less than eighteen months, domestic terrorist Bill Ayers admitted he wrote Barack Obama's book "Dreams From My Father."

This time, it was recorded on videotape as he was speaking last Thursday at Montclair State University (video follows with partial transcript and commentary):

UNKNOWN QUESTIONER: Time magazine columnist Joe Klein wrote that President Obama’s book “Dreams From My Father” quote “may be the best written memoir ever produced by an American politician.”

BILL AYERS: I agree with that.

QUESTIONER: What is your opinion of Barack Obama’s style as a writer?

AYERS: I think the first book is very good. The second one was more of a political hack book, but the first book’s quite good.

QUESTIONER: Right, and also, you mentioned about the Pentagon and…

AYERS: Did you know I wrote it?

QUESTIONER: What’s that?

AYERS: I wrote “Dreams From My Father.”

CROWD: We know that.

QUESTIONER: You wrote that?

AYERS: Yeah, and if you could help me prove it, I’ll split the royalties with you.

[Laughter]

Other than the fact that Obama’s whole myth is based on it, who could possibly care?

It would be nice of some pubbie candidate would look into it-—somebody besides Trump.

He wrote the book, adores the adulation and wants the credit.

Still, if he really wanted to, he could end the controversy in a heartbeat, simply by holding a press conference or issuing an official statement. In fact, at this point, it might be in his best interest to do so, if you get my drift. But the fact that he allows the lie to continue is proof that he's more idealist than writer. He still believes Obama can carry out the political agenda he himself might have executed, had he not disqualified himself by his crimes.

I do have to wonder how long it will be before Ayers and the other hard leftists finally realize that their man in the Oval Office is really Goldman Sachs' man in the Oval Office. The Libyan KMA might help raise their consciousness in that regard.

“Misleading headlines and ideas are not the conservative way”

There has been alot of that around here lately. People read a headline that someone said “fill in outrageous comment”, they believe it and go on a rant. If you actually read what was said, it’s not what was claimed. Not a good trend.

I have questioned “Dreams of My Father” for a long time since I first heard about the book and read about the book. Obama was an unknown talent with dubious writing ability. Obama had written two poems one about apes in a Grotto stamping figs and the other that showed promise called POPs, but very strange for a college freshman or sophomore. In law school Obama wrote, as I understand it, a few uninspiring workman pieces for the law review. My question is, the publishing business is cut throat and very hard to get a foot in. You write a manuscript and hire an agent, he shops it around, if you are lucky you get a rejection note from a publisher who actually read it. If you are lucky enought to get your manuscript published you run around to “book signing” where a few bored people may actually show up buy a copy. You might if lucky make a buck or two. Most books end up in bargain bin. Now why would a publishing company give some one like Obama, a person of dubious talent, twenty five grand to write a book on civil rights and the constitution? Then when no book is forth coming advance another 25 or maybe even 40 grand? Obama then retires to Bali and writes “Dreams” instead of writing on the constitution and civil rights like the advances was originally for? I really think that the fix was in for Obama about the book before the advance was ever made. Who would set Obama up other than a pr-oven writer like William Ayers. Somebody in the publishing industry paved the road for Obama!

I think he’s just making fun of Cashill and others who have doubted Obama’s authorship.

Personally, I wouldn’t doubt that Obama had help with that book. But this video is not much in the way of evidence to support that, given Ayers’ body language which indicates he’s joking.

You’ve been here long enough to understand that when a reply is made to the original poster of an article, it is often directed at the author of the article (especially if the poster doesn’t include a comment of their own).

I think that should be made clear, don’t you?

But does that make any sense? I never could see it. Does anybody really think the author will ever read it?

Plus, there are some commenter who take a “you post it, you own it” attitude.

Have you been paying attention to the decline in atmosphere around here? Freepers jumping Freepers with a frequency I’ve never seen before. And it’s not ny imagination either. I get private complaints about it whenever I make a post like this.
