IMO - what this is about is allowing the Muslim Brotherhood and other Radical Muslim elements walk into a regime that they can easily take over as they did in Egypt.
He is making it easier for them to unite under one banner from many nations. Country after Country is falling in the middle east, even the Saudis have now denounced what he is doing. They too are having a difficult time holding their populations in check. They just distributed billions to their people to calm them.
As they fall, they are being quickly taken over by the most radical forces in the middle east. The MB took over Egypt fast without firing a shot. They are ruling now and are locking people up for a year for being dissidents.
Now Al-Qaeda is on the Libyan battle field and ready to step into place. Why do you think he waited a week before doing anything? For a handful of countries to get together and demand help? No, he was giving them time to move into place. We provided them with air support.
the twofer with that was that BP almost lost it’s 900 Billion in wells there and god knows he wants BP in his pocket.
