I am watching Fox News Sunday, and politicians and pundits with whom I normally agree -- Newt Gingrich, John McCain, Joe Lieberman, and Bill Kristol -- are all making me crazy with their advice on Libya. Each seems to believe that success in America's latest foreign adventure is predicated on taking out Moammar Gaddafi, and they are all blaming President Obama and Secretary Robert Gates for failing to grasp the obvious.They've failed to grasp the obvious who continue to claim that Obama's not a jihadist.
not ignorant at all. I think he’s shi’ite but I’m just guessing. I don’t think researchers checking Zero out early on knew enough about Islam to ask, “Shi’ite or Sunni”. I believe that Indonesia had a Sunni majority and Shi’ite minority during Zero’s early childhood.

Add to all that the serious failure, and I really mean FAILURE, to set up functioning, liberty-respecting democratic republics in either Afghanistan or Iraq (and Iraq, where some of the worlds OLDEST Christian communities reside, has lost HALF of it’s Christian population since we took over...), why in the WORLD do we have the hubris to think we can bring peoples determined to live in the 7th Century up to speed with into a deep respect for religious, economic, and cultural liberty???
