I predict there will be no Swedish aces from this military adventure.

Hey Sweden;
Thanks for the fighter support and all; but what do you suppose the pilot is supposed to do if the enemy shoots back and his plane crashes? Does he have enough cash on him to get a taxi?
Or, are WE expected to send OUR troops in and get him back out?

You would think they might want to practice against ground targets, someday Swedish freedom fighters might want support to retake Malmo

Why is Sweden involved?
Having said that why is the U.S. involved?

I think they just want to get out and hotrod those great jets! If they can impress, maybe they can sell some to raise money to pay all those welfare benefits for all those new muslims in their country.

It's been my understanding that the Gripen is a respectable aircraft.

I agree with your earlier post though - Gadaffi’s not going to be donating any more aircraft to the coalition no-fly zone, and since Sweden’s not doing any A2G work, those jets are just “on display” and “on sale.”

Meaning no disrespect to Sweden, but why in the f*&k did NATO send Sweden a request for Swedish participation?
To ask the question is to answer it--look at Qatar!
What did Obama promise the Swedes? Or is this possibly part of the Swedish PM's long-range agenda?
I want to know why the British and French don't do most of the fighting for their oil supplies.

They’re looking out for Qaddafi’s top secret weapon, the flying tanks.
