Not to be cynical, but maybe the Mormon leae\dership senses a growth opportunity with contiinued unfettered illegal immigration.
I’m extremely cynical. Much like I am with the RCC factions who endorse and engage in supporting illegal aliens.
I’ll just say that I don’t know what their true motives or intentions are outside of what they said in public about “keeping families together”, which can clearly be done by deporting them all.
What I find extremely troublesome is that a religion which has repeatedly stated they are beholden to the laws of the land, has successfully lobbied the elected representatives of a state to pass legislation that is clearly designed to undermine the laws of the land.
Laws that mormons claim to be subject to according to their Articles of Faith (creed).
Now, with regards to illegals, they can say they’re following the “laws” of Utah, not the USA when challenged on their support for illegals.
Who do you think is cleaning all those big church office buildings? They call them "volunteers" and say they "have a calling" but they pay them a pittance. Oh, and for the record, churches are exempt from any legislation Utah passes that goes after businesses that hire illegals.
