Yet the courts have said otherwise. You and I can agree on it but the language is not clear enough that an ACLU attorney and a liberal judge can comprehend it. Thus the need for amendment or repeal. If, as you say, it only applied to slaves then repeal should be just fine as slavery is illegal anymore.
The liberal courts have misused it as has the left. Commies don’t care about truth. What was said at the time about the 14th is still online until the left gets wise and removes it. Repealing it is useless and won’t happen. What it needs is the light of truth.
