Ditto.
Not quite accurate. This was the law for a married woman. It was directed more at whether adultery had been committed rather than the assault on the woman.
For an unmarried woman, the law made no distinction between rape and seduction. In either case the man was forced to marry her, and she him, and he had to pay financial compensation to her father for the loss of value to his daughter. No concern was given to the desires of the woman involved. (Maybe she didn’t want to marry the guy who raped her.)
Epic fail!
In open play it's a drop-goal, it's a conversion if kicked after a try and a penalty goal if from a dead ball.
Any way you look at it, this is one angry man and it appears with good reason.

That the problem these days, people dont properly finish what they start.
How about that, though... the infamous "last nerve" actually makes an appearance.
bkmk
Not guilty. With an apology from the cops.
Decapitation was definitely the wrong head to cut off.
LOL! “Men who stare at...”
I dont feel at ease when I am working night shift and have to walk home. I am scared and I dont feel safe.

Well, I sure wish there was some way we could make this ‘victim’???? feel safe and secure again.
After all he has to work the night shift and walk home.
Maybe we can take up a collection and buy him a car.
Maybe he should be arrested and placed in the same cell as the father AND THE AX.
UH, some of the above should carry the sarcasm tag...you should be able to figure it out......<: <:
I wasn’t comprehensive and should not have paraphrased, because I usually mess it up, here’s the whole thing.
Deuteronomy 22:
23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;
24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.
26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:
27 For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.
28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.
I read this article earlier today. It is a bit ambiguous, but it sounds like he did not kill the rapists but just some random black guys. (?)
If it was in fact the rapists he killed - I’ll vote with the “not guilty” crowd. Otherwise...??? Then again, rape seems to be the national sport of choice among New South Africa’s “finests.” So basically he could have been just doing a bit of street cleaning. Fine him for littering, at worst.
Very true!
Yes, true.
Well as it turns out, all the parties in this story are black. What a reckless article. My guess is that the “journalist” was hoping it was a white man so as stir up racial strife and based it upon not knowing the id of the person but only that he played for a mostly white rugby team.
I personally don’t care what color he was but since the justice system didn’t take care of those four he took care of himself.
Yes, the Leftists want to vilify Whitey and sow more strife and conflict which leads to increased sales of newspapers and website traffic. Nothing like profiting off of other people’s misery.
I’d vote to acquit.
Ah, obviously a lib has joined up to spew his venom. OK tough guy. Whatever you say.
