We are already exporting huge amounts of food to China because our capacity exceeds our need. What happens when even more of the world gets even hungrier than it is now?

I strongly recommend that every family put a way a year’s supply of food, clothing, and the fuel to keep yourself warm and the food cooked (if possible). Only store what you will eat, and rotate your stock by eating what you store. Doing so will help you avoid the paralysis of fear when the rest of the world is crumbling and you are leading your family in prayer.

I recommend getting books on wild edible plants in your area. You'll always find food. God does provide. Sure, it won't be Delmonico steak and potatoes with sour cream, but you'll eat.
