Scott Brown blasts Dems’ checkup (Dem: "Brown votes GOP 98%")
Boston Herald ^ | 4/1/11 | Hillary Chabot

Posted on 04/01/2011 11:11:19 AM PDT by raccoonradio

U.S. Sen. Scott Brown — an upstart Blue State Republican in the cross hairs of national Democrats — is lashing out at the party’s opposition researchers, accusing them of prying into his family’s private health insurance records, and demanding that they stop fighting dirty.

(snip)

A DSCC spokesman insisted the request was only for public information and never sought private medical information about the Brown family.

“Obviously, the commission has made a mistake. Now Brown is trying score cheap political points to distract from his record, voting in lock step with Republicans in Washington, D.C.,” said spokesman Matt Canter. “Brown votes with the Republican establishment 98 percent of the time, and that makes him out of step with Massachusetts,” Canter added. “Democrats will mount a strong campaign to elect a senator that cares more about creating jobs, than saving his own.”

GIC officials could not be reached for comment, but a letter sent by the agency to Brown’s lawyer Tuesday warns “some or all of the material requested may constitute ‘personal data.’ ”

>>Brown votes with the Republican establishment 98 percent of the time, and that makes him out of step with Massachusetts"

Good news, Republicans! If this Dem is to believed, Brown votes GOP 98 per cent of the time, the "he will vote in lockstep with the Republicans" they claimed just before the election. Yeah, that's accurate; Brown a 98 per cent GOP voter, that arch conservative!

If I were Brown, I'd consider that a compliment.

They're your people, Senator. Keep siding with them and someday they might grow to like you.

“Scotty reserves his Dem votes for when he can screw us the most.”

Very true. His worst vote was support for the horrible financial services reform bill, the second worst bill every enacted.

I’m calling YOU out, writer Hillary Chabot.

You are saying Scott Brown is in the cross hairs of Democrats? You are violating the new era of civility which was supposed to happen after Tucson, and after liberals had hyperventilated and had meltdowns about GOP campaign images of cross hairs.

I swear that the Democrats have forgotten the lessons of Tucson.

Or were the lessons only for conservatives? Is it still true that liberals can say anything and nobody is supposed to call them out on things??????

Scott BROWN, the backstabber of the GOP for Mitt Romney,

Benedict Scott Brown has screwed Conservatives over and over.

I was being sarcastic! This guy was saying Brown votes with the GOP 98 per cent of the time. While it’s true that he isn’t a conservative—and couldn’t win in MA if he were—it’s
a laugh out loud statement by the Dem. to say he votes with them 98 per cent of the time.

I feel I shouldn’t have to do “</ sarcasm>” in a case like this but it must have gone over your head...

Right now, the American Conservative Union has Brown at 74%:

I'm not sure he is even going to maintain that a high a rating as time goes on.

74% is about 30 points higher than I’d expect for someone out of Mass.

As sad as that may be.
