Some random anonymous person posted an old ABC News Nightline video to Youtube yesterday, with an hysterical headline that didn’t match what was in the video.

I thought you understood that, which is why I chastised the posting. I apologize. This is a great example of how irrational hysteria spreads. We all need to look at the source of the information we are getting, and not just assume that because there is a scary headline and a recent date on youtube that we are seeing “breaking news”. Do the research, and you might not be quite as scared about things.

I was curious where you got the “200 tons of water” information, since you didn’t give a link. I found it one place, at a site called www.conspiracy.me. I can’t access it from work, but in general, I downplay information if it is posted only at sites with the name “conspiracy” in them.

Oh, it’s also at huffington post and at fairewinds — fairewinds is that group that sues to stop nuclear plants and for other environmental causes, and is the one that claimed they could see the spent pool rod frames in a video where the entire spent pool was buried under roof debris.

IN fact, they are not losing 200 tons of water a day in reactor cooling water. They are recirculating the reactor cooling water, and sending it through the condensors. I can’t find a reference that says they are recirculating 200 tons a day either, but understand that they are not just running water into the cores and having it spill out.

BTW, 200 tons of water is about 50,000 gallons. If you read the news today, you will see that yesterday they asked for permission to release 11,500 tons of low-level radioactive water, and today they have started that release. So there was a LOT of water around from when they were spraying and dropping water all over the reactors. But this isn’t highly radioactive water from the reactor core.

They also think they found the leak of radioactive water into the trench — a crack in a pipe, not a crack in the reactor core. Doesn’t mean there isn’t a crack in the core, just that the current leak is coming from a crack in a pipe. They also slowed down the flow of water into the ocean, and are trying a glass seal on some gravel to stop the flow.

I certainly won’t try to dissuade your opinion that “both Japan and the U.S. are controlled by a wealthy, corrupt oligarchy and cabal of the elites”. I will say that this is the type of language I am more used to seeing in socialist, communist, and extreme liberal press releases — it’s the rhetoric the protesters use at WTO gatherings. Given that is your basis for forming opinions, I understand why you assume things are much worse than we know.

And since it can’t be proven that we know what is happening, or that things we don’t know about aren’t happening, I can only repeat my method of operation — I worry about what we actually know, I dig to learn all I can, I read everything, not just the headlines and the opinions of the providers, and I try to keep educated. Beyond that, I try not to speculate about things we don’t yet know or act on what might happen in the future.

That way I don’t try to solve the global warming crisis, which is also due to a wealthy, corrupt oligarchy and cabal of elites that our government covers for.

Calling me hysterical and a communist is a personal attack. And against FR rules. Shame on you.

Hardly anybody on FR listened to me when I warned about the housing bubble back in 2004 to 2008, either. Or when I warned about mortgage fraud conducted by major banks. Or when I warned about the stock market bubble. Or warned about the banking crisis. Or warned about Wall Street Bankers profiteering on the crisis and warned that our government has been taken over by bankers. Look what happened and is still unfolding today like a slow motion train wreck.

But all my predictions came true 100% . . . Where I found that information about 200 tone of water:

Look to my previous post and hit the link that says: "Newly Released TEPCO Data Provides Evidence of Periodic Chain Reaction at Fukushima Unit". An old report that I posted on FR last week discusses the pure, objective truth in scientific detail.

The opinion of an experienced nuclear engineer is far more believable and holds far more weight than your own opinion.

Your tactic of casting aspersions and calling the engineering source of information pathetic names -- reveals fatally flawed reasoning. And very bad debate tactics. And a closed mind. And rampant use of "post hoc ergo propter hoc" logical fallacies. In short, your arguments are imperceptive at best, fatally flawed and totally unfounded.

I have never visited Huffington Post in my life. But you obviously do visit the site quite often. I would not even know how to do a topic search on HP. Guess that makes your politics far more suspect than mine.

LOL LOL !

Yes, it is scary to admit these cabal exist, but that’s part of being a freedom lover....
