A little personal observation of So. America.
Shortly after 9/11, my husband and I were in the “Tres Frontieres” area in So. America for our business. There were certain areas there that our guide/translator would not allow us to enter. He said there was alot of Hezbollah and Hamas presence in those parts. No mention of Al Qaeda at that time. The locals were very concerned, even then, about their infiltration into the area. Our son, who is now our marketing manager, just returned from there. He thought the “Black Muslim” (their local term) presence was much worse than just nine months ago on his last trip. Kidnapping of American business men is a serious threat and lucrative endeavor now. (Most of it unreported) He, nor we, will be going back. The business climate in other countries of So. America (Chile and Argentina espcially) is much safer.
hezbollah and hamas are all over South America, but their biggest presence is in venezuela and peru where they have taken over entire swaths of both countries. They have set up training camps for jihad and even train certain members of venezuela’s military.
I don’t consider them a “presence.” I consider them an infestation. And they are everywhere, in every country from South America to Central America and Mexico, and all the little islands in between.
muslims are EVEN in Antarctica. I kid you not.
Very interesting post RR. Makes me wonder how soon it will be in the US before there will be areas we will not be able to go into because of the Muslim extremists we’re not stopping from comingin.....Britain already has areas where the influx of undesirables from the ME is so dangerous nobody dares go there.
