Some of the ‘rubes’ won’t take kindly to having their holdings essentially ‘made worthless’ - especially the ones with large, efficient, well-equiped armies, and nuclear weapons, to back up their claims....

we are looking at a $1.6 trillion budget deficit this year. The deficit for the month of February alone was $223 billion. that money will have to come from somewhere because nobody is talking about cutting 1.6 trillion dollars in spending. QE3, here we come. buy gold and silver.

But that does exactly what Bill was talking about, devalue the dollar. Whether they default on the debt or devalue the dollar, the real loser is the working man, who has debts to pay and mouths to feed.

The Fed doesn’t even have to print the money anymore. They just type in some numbers on a computer and call it ‘money’. I recall that of the $19 trillion dollars in existence only about $177 billion is actually in the form of currency.
