Paul Ryan responds to distortions and demagogueries: "Shame on them for doing it"
The Daily Caller ^ | 4-5-11 | Jeff Poor

It was certain to attract this sort of response, but Wisconsin Republican Rep. Paul Ryan released his budget plan going forward that includes some sweeping changes to federal expenditures, including entitlement spending.

One of those criticisms came from Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chairman New York Rep. Steve Israel. On Tuesday, immediately following Ryan’s release, Israel called it a “privatization scheme” and blasted it for addressing subsidies to oil companies.

However, in a speech at the American Enterprise Institute on Tuesday, Ryan fired back, admitting he saw this coming and called such criticisms “distortions and demagogueries.” Ryan specifically called out Israel for his political opportunism.

“Steve Israel is the head of the Democratic campaign committee,” Ryan said. “He’s in charge of their reelection effort, of the political machine, and here’s the deal –is this a political weapon? Of course it is. But you have to say things like that, which are distortions and demagogueries, no two ways about it, in order to score these kinds of political points.”

“...Shame on them for doing it”...”

Yeah, wow, THAT’S telling them, now!!! Made ME shake in my boots. Next thing you know, he’ll move to the REALLY aggressive “shame, shame” finger-wagging phase...

Pardon me, Mr Ryan, but “Go F*** Yourself, you commie pig!” would be a much more appropriate response to the Dem, given the seriousness of the wreckage these socialist a-holes have created out our once-prosperous (and FREE) country.

But I won’t hold my breath.

For the record, I think Ryan is A-OK. Just fed up with our side playing nicey-nicey and politesse with these socialist pigs.

Don’t abuse Paul Ryan. He’s just one of the nicest and smartest and fearless Congressmen we have. I know him personally because he represents a district near where I live.

Suren' beghorra now if we aren't after haven a fine irish lad asteppin' into the batter's box for AMERICA. A hero from old Erin's Isle has arisen. An just when the nation needs him the most to. We're ALL one hundert n' ten percent behind one of Ireland's favorite sons.... for soon he'll be introducin' his Shelalli to the sides of many a democrat head before the budget battle is won. For good measure he'll likely be a treatin 'em to liberal doses of bare knuckel IRISH LOGIC as well... The good SAINT PATRICK will bestow unending blessings upon his broad shoulders in the heat of the upcoming melee. The GOOD LORD himself will be a smilin' down shinin' the light of heaven itself upon him as he wages holy war against the pitiful liberal rotters. 'HE'LL BE JOININ THE HARP N SHAMROCKS TO WITH STARS OF LIBERTY'

“...Don’t abuse Paul Ryan...”

I’m not abusing him...apologies if it came off like that. I like the guy too. You heard frustration from me, basically. Just sick and tired of our side being too polite to call trash by its name.

This isn’t Repubs vs Dems anymore to me; it’s now Americans versus anti-americans. They’ve wrecked our prosperity, trashed everything good, clean, and dear to us as a people, and are intent on bringing us down to the level of some third-world sh*thole.

So when I hear the typical dem mealymouths start spewing, I really, desperately, would LOVE to hear, just once, one of our guys tell these commie pigs to go f**k themselves.

Just once, before I kick, I want to hear that and watch the libs heads start popping.

Is that too much to ask?

I hear you. The problem is that I think Conservatives have been raised to be nice and polite in public and to follow the rules. It’s hard to shake that upbringing.

“..raised to be nice and polite in public and to follow the rules. It’s hard to shake that upbringing...”

For the sake of saving the Republic, they BETTER try to shake it.

We’re at war with the asscl*wns on the other side of the aisle; THEY know it. It’s about time our side realizes it. Some of us do, but not enough.

They want us and everything we love and hold dear GONE - and given the right opportunity and the right amount of power, they’ll do whatever they have to do to achieve that end.

No time for nicey-nice. And I can’t believe that our guys DON’T know or don’t understand what the dems have become (or maybe always were).

One has but to listen to their words, and do a little research, and you hear Marx, Engles, Lenin, Stalin, Che, and Mao coming from them.

That makes them the enemy. They made themselves the enemy by embracing those folks.

Tell him I have a huge crush on him. (Yes, I know he's married. Congrats and kudos to his wife!)
