Yes...I believe she has - in fact - lost. And not that it matters now, but she lost because of a huge error by a rino/repub/conserv/tpartyer clerk who was unable to do her job. She needs her butt kicked...and then she needs to be fired.

But the bigger and much more important point is this. When the first vote total showed that Justice Prosser had lost by just 214 votes, did you notice the immediate and loud response from the WI Republican Party, the WI Tea Party, and the other conservative legal and community groups regarding challenges to the count, to the process, to the vote????

Neither did I....the silence was "deafening"; the inactivity astounding; the failure to respond, however, typical.

Yet....once the terrible "human error" had been discovered and corrected....the dem/lib/prog/pops lit up like a christmas tree. Calls for a joint team investigation of legal and law enforcement officials into the "suspect" error....WI "Common Cause" ( a dem/lib/prog/pop shill organization fronted by union funds) immediately began a call for a total state-wide vote recount...other dem/lib/prog/pop community groups are organizing for the battle....

Truthfully, the rino/repub/conserv/tpartyers make me sick. They are afraid, cowardly, timid, leaderless, unable to manage a situation; inept, unprofessional, and just plain "invisible". If the WI response to Justice Prosser's "faux loss" is an indication of the rino/repub/conserv/tpartyer's belief in their cause.....then they are doomed....at least here in WI.

One has to believe that this is true throughout the US also.

I grew up in western Wisconsin, my dad (now retired) taught for 35 yrs at a state public university, and I have relatives both Repubs & union thug demoRATs. My own brother voted like an idiot for 0dumbo.

All that being said, yes, our country is split down the middle. Why should conservatives & taxpayers continue to fund & bankroll the union thugs, teacher unions, public sector unions & welfare recipients who are destroying our country. I love the state of Wisconsin (and Minnesota) where I now live, but return every weekend to my elderly 94 yrs old dad's place to help my sister care for my dad.

Unfortunately CW does pit family against family & friends against friends, just like in CW I. Personally I have a hard time even being in the same room with my brother & his dumber-than-dirt demoRAT wife, for them having voted for 0dumbo, commmie pig-in-chief. I directly challenge my brother & sister-in-law by asking point blank how anycne can be so stupid as to vote for demoRATs, especially 0dumbo who they both still support.

I have yet to see any union thug or socialist demoRAT back down on ANYHTING! I am sick & tired of caving into the socialist RAT bastards, demoRATS & union thugs. I don't want to pay for their socialist nanny state any longer. As Thomas Jefferson said, the tree of liberty needs to be watered now & then with the blood of tyrants & that of patriots. We are long past overdue for that to happen!

Like I said before, I agree with you. I just don't think a civil war will be as clear cut and decisive as it sounds. While the first civil war solved one problem, it created others. Sometimes it's best to deal with the devil you know, then create some devils you don't know.

That being said, if a second CW starts, I'm not backing down from any socialist, unionist, communist, or democrat.

Oh, on how I now deal with my Liberal Brother and Sister-in-Law....One, we've agreed to not discuss politics anymore, because it only generates negative anxiety. Second, when my SIL occasionally throws out a barb about Republicans or the Tea Party or Sarah Palin, etc. I just smile and chuckle to myself.

I can do this by realizing that liberalism is like a mental disorder or a disease. If a retarded (excuse the language, but that's what I grew up calling people with slow mental capabilities) child started trying to argue with me about politics, I would treat them the same way...smile and chuckle. You'd be amazed how much that helps ease your anxiety when you realize and treat liberals as retarded children. Afterall, you wouldn't argue or fight a retarded child, would you? No, you just feel sorry for their condition.
